Happy birthday to me, Happy birthday to me…Oh yeah It's my birthday. I6th to be exact. The big one six, champagne birthday, you get it. Sadly this year there won't be a grande bonne fêté because of my first semester exams and which makes partying at the bottom of my to-do list. Courtesy of The Telegraph don't worry guys it's reliable. I only write about the truth.

Now is anyone as outraged as me for some of these nominees. I know, I know some of these people really deserve it but others...yah I've seen better. Take Jonah Hill for example, love him to death, think he's funny as hell but really? Why don't we put in Adam Sandler and how bout we just toss in Miley Cyrus for the fun of it because that's what this year is looking like to me, an absolute joke. "And you get a nomination! And you get a nomination! And you get a nomination!" But Where's Oprah's? For a woman that likes to give a lot she's not really getting much back in return. Where's Tom Hanks's nomination for Best Actor? He is in fact a big part of the Oscars. But to be honest Jonah Hill isn't that bad, he's actually really worked hard to establish himself in the industry and I commend him…that does not mean he deserves the Oscar more than Lee Daniels.

See People think that the Oscars are solely based on the quality and the passion behind the plot but that only makes 10% of it. What people don't know is that the Oscars are a popularity contest and the script you made doesn't meaning a flying crapedo if you don't have popularity.

Think of it like this, the Oscars is like a high school campaign. And the one that gives out the most cupcakes, has the best posters and kisses the most butt is sure to win. It's sad but it's Hollywood what did you expect?

Happy (belated) New Year,

                             Jay
